Parker LaCombe was recognized as the 2024 Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration's Trailblazer in Advancing Recovery (STAR) Peer Support Worker of the Year. Since 2015 Parker has used her lived experience and passion for mental health and substance misuse recovery to show others the power of authentic Peer Support and the voice of lived expertise.

Parker is a seasoned Peer Supporter and Co-Design expert dedicated to advancing the visibility, impact, and effective integration of Peer Support within healthcare systems. With a strong commitment to amplifying the voices of individuals with lived experience, Parker has played a pivotal role in shaping mental healthcare policies, enhancing program design, and educating clinicians, lawmakers, and organizations on the critical need to empower, elevate, and sustain the role of Peer Support and lived experience professionals.
